Episode 4 - Ministering in small steps: the neighborhood pedestrian shed

Eric O. Jacobsen, Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church Tacoma, shares about his experiences of walking to work as a component of his pastoral identity. He also highlights First Presbyterian’s ‘For Tacoma’ initiative, which includes mapping out the buildings and businesses within the “pedestrian-shed” or neighborhood blocks surrounding the church property as a way to encourage the congregation to identify and pray for each business and building in the local community.
